About The Foundation
The Michael Asawalam Foundation (M.A. Foundation) is a socio-development movement founded in 2022 and incorporated on January 16, 2023, by Chief Michael Chipeuzo Asawalam Jr. The foundation aims to catalyze socio-economic empowerment and development among young people, as well as provide support for senior citizens. Chief Asawalam’s passion for seeing young people, particularly girls and young women, fulfilled and empowered drives the foundation’s mission. M.A. Foundation firmly believes in the potential of young individuals to achieve greatness and make a positive impact in their communities. The foundation’s core values are rooted in Chief Asawalam Jr.’s belief that promoting healthy living, socioeconomic empowerment for the youth, and care for the elderly should prioritize the dignity with which societies develop and implement policies for human development.
