Recently, we had the honor of conducting a medical outreach at Fatima Oriagu Nsu in Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State, and it was a day filled with compassion, care, and community spirit.
Our team arrived early, setting up a temporary clinic at Fatima Oriagu Nsu. We were warmly welcomed by the community, and it was heartening to see the large number of residents who came out to take advantage of the free medical services. The enthusiasm and gratitude of the people reaffirmed the importance of our mission.
Throughout the day, our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and volunteers provided a range of essential medical services. These included general health check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, eye examinations, and dental care. Each patient received personalized attention, ensuring that their specific health needs were addressed.
In addition to medical check-ups, we also distributed free medications and health supplies. Many of the residents expressed their appreciation for the medicines and supplies, which are often difficult to obtain in their area. For many, this outreach was a rare opportunity to access healthcare services and medications that they otherwise could not afford.
One of the highlights of the day was our health education sessions. We believe that prevention is just as important as treatment, so we provided valuable information on maintaining good health. Topics included the importance of a balanced diet, proper hygiene practices, and regular physical activity.
