Recently, we had the privilege of conducting a medical outreach in Agbaja, a vibrant community in Ehime Mbano. The outreach was held live at Stella Maris Secondary School Agbaja in Ehime Mbano on 24th June 2023.
Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event. We set up our outreach center early in the morning, ready to welcome the residents of Agbaja. The turnout was remarkable, with a large number of people eagerly lining up to receive medical attention.
During the outreach, we provided a variety of essential healthcare services. Our team conducted general health check-ups, blood pressure screenings, diabetes testing, and eye examinations. We also offered counseling sessions where individuals could discuss their health concerns with our medical experts and receive personalized advice.
In addition to these services, we distributed free medications and health supplies to those in need. Many residents expressed their gratitude for the support, as access to healthcare in this region can often be limited. Seeing the smiles on their faces and hearing their words of appreciation was incredibly rewarding for all of us at the foundation.
Our outreach was not just about treating illnesses; it was also about education. We held informative sessions on preventive healthcare, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
